Features

Everything it does,
and what it won't.

A record-keeping tool built for jumpers who log every jump. It records, it reminds, it exports — and it stays out of your decisions in the air.

Auto-recording

It logs the jump. You write the story.

A paired sensor reads barometric and inertial data and labels each phase as it happens — exit, freefall, deployment, canopy, landing. Specific, not magic: detection is measured against a hand-labeled library of real jumps, and it tells you when it isn't sure.

GPS track + map replay

Watch the whole skydive back, foot by foot.

Your GPS track is rendered as an altitude-graded polyline over a dark Mapbox basemap — exit, canopy turn, pattern, and landing, with markers at every phase change. Scrub the timeline and read altitude, speed, and glide at any point.

Coach insights

Trends across your jumps, not a leaderboard.

SkydiveZero looks across your logged jumps and surfaces patterns worth a conversation with a coach — deployment altitude drift, freefall time consistency, pattern entry. It's a prompt for review, never a score and never a ranking against anyone else.

License progress · multi-authority

Track A–D against the authority you actually jump under.

Requirements differ across USPA, BPA, and FAI. SkydiveZero maps your jumps to the categories of whichever body governs you, shows exactly what's left, and exports a signed snapshot your instructor can verify.

Gear lifecycle · riggers

Your gear's whole life, on one ledger.

Track reserve repacks, AAD service windows, and jumps-on-canopy per rig. Link a rigger and the repack ledger updates on their signature — you both read the same record. Riggers get a directory listing so jumpers can find them.

Pre-flight check

A calm checklist, not an alarm.

Before you manifest, a quick pass over what matters: currency, gear status, conditions to consider. The verdict is positive when you're good to go, with advisory notes where there's something to weigh — the call is always yours.

Voice notes

Debrief while it's fresh, before you've unpacked.

Tap once on the walk back and talk. Voice notes attach to the jump draft so your own debrief — what worked on the exit, where the pattern got tight — is there when you write it up properly later.

Watch companion

A high-contrast altimeter on your wrist.

The watch app shows altitude AGL in big tabular numerals — the same digits that don't jitter as they update — plus vertical speed and the live phase. Dark-only by design, for outdoor and gloved readability under canopy. It's a reference, not a primary altimeter.

Sign digitally. The snapshot holds up.

Review a student's jump, then sign it. SkydiveZero captures an integrity-checked snapshot of the record at the moment of signing, so an approval means what it says in a regulatory audit. Work an approvals queue, and earn a verified-instructor badge.
